Factors that lead to the Growing Food Gap

Filed under: higherkilat

Good day Fellas!

For me this are the serveral factors that could lead to the growing food gap in various regions around the world:

1. The fall of cereal stocs to a level that is below the margin of safety;

2. The effect of the El Niño phenomenon in production;

3. The allocation of water away from agriculture;

4. The decline in soil fertility in many regions;

5. The development in China and India, which could put more pressures on world food markets;

6. The rapid urbanization in low-income developing contries, which could put increasing stress on food delivery and processing systeml;

7. The political instability and peace and order situation in various regions, which can cut food production and lead to widespread hunger and starvation.

For you what is your idea about serveral factors that could lead to the growing food gap in various regions around the world?
